"I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high."
                                                             Psalm 7:17
Glory to God!
Now that I am grown, I am even more amazed at the world around me because I see even more details that Our Creator has put into our world.  As people, we are blessed to witness the awesome power of God in the storms that bring life-giving rain and in the gentle love that is displayed in the softness of a flower.  Our Father wants to bless us with beauty in our lives.  See His love every time you look at His creations.
All too often, we get caught up with the hustle of daily living and forget to thank our Father for the blessings around us.  Whenever life's trials feel overwhelming and out of control, take a slow, leisurely stroll through God's creations and soak in His love and peace.  Talk with Him as you walk.  Express to Him your concerns and thoughts.  Then as the worries of life start to lift, look around and see the amazing details that He has put into the world around you; and know that the same Father who painted the colors into the sunset and placed the beautiful corals into the sea, loves you and wants to have a close personal relationship with you.
Glory to God! He is the creator of all living things.  As a youngster, I lived in the country and would often wander around "exploring" the world around me.  Everything interested me - the tall, stout oak tree and the smallest of insects.  How does the spider spin the web that is so delicate, yet has the strength to capture the largest of insects?  How did the grass in the yard intertwine at the roots and form such a soft carpet?  As I grew, the teachers at school would try to explain the genetics of the world and the scientific explanations to the magic of life.  I wanted to know the beginning and the reason.  The Bible states that man was created with the specific purpose of praising God and having fellowship with Him.  Our Father created us with the same love and care that He used when He formed the majestic mountains and the smallest creatures.
"This is the day which the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it."   Psalm 118:24
Praise Him for creating the beauty in all things.
Praise Him for the little unexpected joys each day.
Praise Him for loving you and being a part of every aspect of your life.  Praise Him for the love that caused Him to send His Son to suffer and die for your salvation.

Then, take the time to be quiet and listen to His voice.
